CTM Supports U.S.–UK Recommendations for the Future of Tokenized Markets

The Coalition for Tokenized Markets has submitted a statement supporting the recommendations of the Transatlantic Taskforce for Markets of the Future and the continued commitment of U.S. and UK authorities to advance regulatory cooperation around tokenized financial markets.

CTM supports the proposed creation of a structured public-private working group to develop practical cross-border use cases for tokenized assets and identify the regulatory and technical changes needed to encourage broader institutional adoption. The Coalition has also expressed its interest in contributing to this initiative.

The statement highlights the importance of greater legal certainty around settlement finality, consistent approaches to tokenized securities, and the responsible use of stablecoins and tokenized money market funds within regulated market infrastructure.

Continued coordination between the United States and the United Kingdom can help reduce market fragmentation, improve collateral management and settlement, support cross-border investment, and strengthen both jurisdictions’ global competitiveness.
